How do I register with you?

Simply sending your CV to us will allow you to register. You can submit this through to jobs@thomsonselectgroup.co.uk, you can fax to 01204 592674 or post it to:

However, we do strongly recommend that you view our vacancies before submitting a general application and should there be a position which appeals to you, please apply to this directly by attaching or enclosing your CV. Please note that we will also consider you for anything else which we believe may be suitable.

Should you not have a CV, please complete the online application form provided.

When will I hear back from you?

We endeavour to contact all new applicants within 7 working days. However, this cannot be guaranteed given the nature of the work and the unknown amount of applications we will receive on a daily basis. If you have not heard back from us within this timescale, you are welcome to ring us to check the status of your application.

Please note, we do respond to all candidates regardless of whether you are successful or not.

What if I see more than one job advertised that I am interested in?

There is no need to duplicate your application. Simply apply for ONE of the positions that you are interested in; when the consultant assesses your CV, they will consider all of our current vacancies and they will discuss with you all of the positions that they feel may suit you.

How do I find out more about the position I have seen advertised?

The easiest way to find out more is to send your CV to us. Our consultants are unable to disclose full details of the positions with you until they are in receipt of your written application.

Why should I use a recruitment agency?

Using a recruitment agency takes most of the stress out of looking for a new job. We have hundreds of jobs available at any one time, and so one application to us can open up many opportunities for you. In addition, we can give you the advice and guidance you need to succeed and we will help you establish your direction and try to find you a position with a company with whom you can have a long term career.

As a consultancy we have many years experience in placing people with the right types of organisations and using our services will allow you access to all these positions with the minimum of effort. Additionally, we will help re-formulate your CV to show your full potential, and we will guide you through the interview process every step of the way.

Our clients often use our services as they know that we have a great understanding of their company, they pay us to conduct the first stages of the interview process for them.

Many of our clients have only restricted amounts of HR resources available and by using a consultancy such as ours; they are able to use their resources in the best way. In this, many of our clients prefer not to deal with direct responses as it is very time consuming and so trying to 'bypass' us to get straight to our client will not prove beneficial.
